Idea Base: It's always bothered me that there's barrels of toxic waste littering Hell, and I really liked the idea of the Hell Barrels in Doom 2016/Eternal. What's in them? Souls? Our hopes and Dreams? Sin? Who knows?

I like the concept, but the sprites need some work. I don't know what's with the brown pixels, but it looks bad. Is it supposed to be pulsating?


Also the sprites need to be PNG'd.

Have you tried it in-engine? Works best in GZdoom.

I would recommend you to face this barrel forward instead of 3/4. With many obstacles, they're supposed to be facing forward instead of 3/4ths. Also, it would look better if it was scaled down a tiny bit. That's just a suggestion.

Slightly out of date. Also can't figure out why videos won't properly post here.

I'm probably going to bow out because I basically exclusively make assets for folks who don't use texture filtering of any kind because I personally dislike texture filtering.

I don't generally play with texture filtering either, but when you said "Works best in GZdoom", I though you were talking about the OpenGL renderer, because I already told you it doesn't look good pixelated.

@Volasaurus I recommend you resprite and touch up the DECORATE file for the Hell Barrel, also you have people that you may want to ask for help on spriting.
