I don't think this could have much use, if it is intended as an NPC, then at least it should fit one of the 4 main games (Doom, Heretic/Hexen, Strife)

I would guess that heretic/hexen would be the best fit for her.
She would work well as a heretic/hexen shopkeeper.
edit:
I will try to see if I can make an update of her where she has some sort of attack.

That's a very powerful railgun attack for such an "easy" enemy, and she fires it three times in a row, either reduce the damage and change the sound to something more magical, or give her a different more fitting attack.
Her proportions in game look weird, instead of giving her different x & y scale, give her equal scaling.
She also lacks a pain sound.

Ok, time to be brutally honest.
Even with proper balancing, I don't think this would get approved. The main problem here is the sprites, I find them very unappealing.
Sorry, but I'll pass this one.

I have experimented with these Might and Magic sprites in the past - it is possible to get them to fit in with the Hexen art style to a degree, but it's not perfect. The end result is quite rough but they don't look as out-of-place in-game.
First you have to resize the entire spritesheet to match the dimensions of the Hexen sprites (they appear a bit squat but they look normal in-game) - this step takes a bit of trial-and-error. You also have to reduce the brightness of the sprites to match (around -50%), increase the contrast slightly (10?), and it also helps to manually tweak the colours to match the Hexen palette - index them to the Hexen palette if you can without degrading them. You can also delete every second animation frame as the M&M stuff has double the framerate for the animation and apply antialiasing to smooth them out. It's quite a bit of work though and some of the creatures are too thin and spindly to survive the resize.
Here's an example of the Druidess, a Crystal Ice Demon and a Wyvern modified to fit Hexen style with this approach.
It may be worth a try adopting a similar approach for this Sorceress.

ok fair enough
----
I may take captain toenails advice about might and magic enemies and try again with this sprite but for hexen and going through the process he mentions and I could try recoloring it... would that be something worth doing or do you think I should try a completely different sprite for my next attempt?
I have another enemy based on a sprite from shadow of the beast, floating eyes, a version with a melee attack and one with a ranged attack... they are fairly simple lost souls variants though ...but I guess I could post them as well at some point ... also working on a tower type enemy using modified sprites from shadow of the beast

I had a go at trying to match the Might & Magic sprites to Heretic's Corvus. I have no idea how this looks or animates in game. She might be a little distorted.
