We all wanted this. Raven needed this back in the 90s. Here it is. You're welcome Hexen community.

Stained Glass Windows - The Essentials

Count: 20 or so
Palette: Hexen / Heretic

Anims/Switches: ACS from my in-hiatus ZHexen project is included

Description:
More Stained Glass Windows for and from Hexen (and Heretic). This pack contains 128px wide and 256px tall versions of Hexen's Stained-Glass textures, a Heresiarch one, blank ones for new characters, the ones from Heretic, and the ones from the Hexen beta.

Special thanks to RaVeN-05 for posting the Beta textures and ItsNatureToDie for the versions without characters.

Ok, PK3 filled with goodies. Now we'll all be able to have 128px wide and 256px tall stained glass in our Hexen maps...

Are the contents of each folder meant to be the same but with different palettes? If so, why the texture count discrepancy between the folders? The folder with the PNGs has 35 textures,. the Hexen one has 27, and the Heretic one has 31.

Yes, they are Pallete Conversions, which was probably unnecessary in hindsight, but they have different numbers of textures because the Hexen Pallete one has textures which Heretics IWAD has, and the Heretic Pallete folder has ones which Hexen's IWAD has, thus eliminating the need to include them.

New version uploaded.
- Took out the palletted ones
- Added a little CREDIT lump
- Added some Empty windows made by ItsNatureToDie, bringing the total to 40

Hoping to see this on the repository soon! :3

Regarding the ACS bit: it's probably better if you make it a library , so that mappers don't have to copy and paste the same code in every map where it's needed.

Edit: I noticed there is GetLineX and GetLineY functions. These don't exist in (G/Q)ZDoom.

I agree with the above. It would be a thoughtful touch for users. Otherwise, I think this looks nice. So much purple!

And you're right, I should make all the ZHexen stuff a library. Anything else?
