Idea Base: A naked Revenant.

This is a fantastic and simple sprite edit that gives the mapper a completely melee based Revenant who is a bit weaker, but still packs a hell of a wallop.

I like the way it follows you at the end of the melee, it is simple but also makes a good difference in the way of fight (or foolish) melee monsters in Doom.

But, as it does not have an armor as the normal revenant does, I guess it should not survive a super shotgun point blank blast.

Just my two cents. :)

A valid point, as I'm sure a mapper would like to have a group or even a horde of them charge the player. I could lower the health down to 150, putting it on the same level as a Pinky.

No complaints here. It seems to be a decent monster. I like how its melee attack isn't as easy to dodge as the normal monsters', which makes it more threatening.

I don't really have any complaints either. It's a nice enough sprite edit of a popular monster, and the melee attack modification is a good way to increase its threat level without introducing any weird behavioral quirks. I'd be OK with anywhere from 150 to 200 health; seems appropriate for what he is and does.

I assumed PK3 was off limits for monsters? In any case I put it in a .zip if that works too? And I fixed the marker.

It looks like you based your fixes on an older version of the file. The monster's health is 250 now, as opposed to 150.

Whoops, damn it! Yes, I meant zip, but we do technically accept .pk3 for monsters (usually only if the monster benefits from the extra directory structure for some reason). Anyways, yes, thank you for the changes. I'd be OK with this in its current state.
