cause right now the core mod is (VERY) buggy

Then why include it in a submission if it's that buggy? If it's unstable, it probably isn't good quality.

thats why i DIDNT include it int the submission im just realesing this ONE weapon
if i where to include my FULL weapon mod the zip file would be atleast 12x larger

This is exactly why I suggested getting some more modding experience before trying to submit things. The things you're having problems with (E.G. basic inventory functions) are fundamental... Not the kind of things you should be learning after you start submitting.

The ZDoom Wiki is a good place to learn. ( Link )
The ZDoom Editing forum is the place to ask questions you'll inevitably have. ( Link )
We also have our Workshop forum if you're working on something and get stuck on a weird problem.

The old forum is gone and this one is pretty new, but we've actually been doing this for years. A lot of would-be contributors have tried to rush headlong into submitting their inexperienced, low-quality items, and those of course did not make it into the repository. We don't have the strictest standards of quality, but we do have a dumping-ground reputation to keep free of.

just because im new to the forums doesnt mean i was born yesterday, i have ALOT of modding experience been doing it for 3 years (you should try it sometime)

the whole reason i didnt post my weapon pack with all my stuff is because you guys would have a fit and nag me about the sprites because there not mine, then one thing would lead to another and pretty soon you would be saying that the week i spent
coding it(Without ANY Team-just me) never happened and somehow i didnt code it so im not going to post it here, im going
to post it on the DoomWorld forums(Way Larger/Better Community)

You keep saying that, but your submissions so far prove otherwise. This weapon, for example, clearly wasn't in a condition to be submitted. It has major, obvious bugs that I can't fathom how they managed to be overlooked by you during testing.

No one asked you to do that. All we wanted was for the ammo to be in the same WAD. For the sake of the submission, there was absolutely no reason to keep them separate from the weapon. They're just simple ammo items which the weapon requires to function. If keeping them in the same WAD would cause some compatibility or other forms of issues with your own mods when paired, then it's your problem, not ours, and definitely it shouldn't have any effect on the submission.


I'm going to be frank here, my patience is starting to run thin. You don't seem to be learning from your mishaps. Your constant arguing is tiring, you don't listen to our advise, and you keep neglecting the submission rules.

Redxon this has been gone on for way to long. This is going to be strike 3 if you don't stop your doing it again. Give your self a brake and go do something else for a awhile. All The negatively is coming from is you.

Just go and do something different instead of weapons ok. Go do something simple like item's or texture. We don't need to know about your past either ok.

Redxon. Please stop bring a smart lac to everyone here. Nuff is enough. Just listen to these guys alright they are just trying there best to help to you out. Don't be hard headed about it alright do it right THE FIRST TIME.

The repository is not a backup service for bits and pieces from an unfinished WIP.


Things that are submitted here are supposed to work standalone, with only minimal changes (like changing the editor number or weapon slot). It's supposed to be a resource full of serviceable parts, not a junkyard of half-broken stuff.

This is also why we insist on proper, complete credits.
