So the point of this was supposed to be an SS Guard replacement for folks who use the BFG edition. I understand why this is against the rules here, I appreciate your time, and I will post it elsewhere.

A nice looking enemy, but its behavior should be more than just a Wolfenstein SS reskin. Check other entries like the Former Ranger, the Elite Guard or the ZSpec Ops, which have a similar idea with different behavior. Special mention to the Former Ranger, as it was designed to be a nazi reskin, but has its own quirks.

Another thing is that since it is a zombie, it should have some visual indication that it is an undead creature (most zombies on the repo have bloodstains on their armor, this one looks very clean)

Lastly, the sprites should be converted to PNG.

Actor replacements are not allowed. So please, remove the replacement bit from the code.

A couple of things about the info which need correction:

Volasaurus wrote: Connections: Replaces the SS Guard

That should instead be "None":

Submission rules wrote: Connections: Does this monster have any connections to other monsters? Does it use the same projectile as another or does it summon another monster already on the Beastiary? Say what it is, or if it doesn't, just say "None."

Volasaurus wrote: Actor modification: Slight chance to drop an armor bonus.

That should instead be "No":

Submission rules wrote: Does the monster require modification to an existing actor to work properly? Custom actor states and virtual function overrides are an example of such modification.

I see you nuked your thread. Before closing anything, keep in mind that what Blue Shadow said is that you should remove the "replace" bit from the code, not that the whole actor should be scrapped.

Exactly that.

If the OP wants, they can put a comment in the DECORATE file stating the original intent, and modders can decide for themselves if they want to go with that or not.

Since there's no submission here anymore, then there's no point in keeping the topic opened. So closing.

The OP can re-submit it if they want to.
