That's because extreme deaths are more useful with monsters with low health (like the zombies and imps). This actor has way too much health to enter its XDeath state even with a BFG attack (it works with the MDK command).

This is my opinion, but I like its XDeath more than its normal Death animation. I think it should have only 1 death state.

I removed the Paladin's extreme death sprites, sound, XDeath state on DECORATE, and removed the Xdeath GLDEF. Monsters like Pinky to Cyberdemon have only one death state, decided to make The Paladin have only one death.

I made a goofball mistake, of course -_-. I fixed the red paladin ball's GLDEF.
