Yeah sorry I don't know how to use blender yet. Plus I don't have a good graphics card at the moment so it doesn't seem to run very well for me.
Maybe I could adjust the contrast on the head or something, but I'm already burnt out on making this monstrosity. If someone wants to help out let me know.

I might try make some mare tan textures for the original model. I probably won't have enough free time to make a full resprite though

Sounds good. I'll probably come back to this sprite and touch it up, make the head look better at least. I just need to motivate myself to work on it more I guess. But I suppose there isn't a big rush. I've got a version of this monster in a gameplay mod already.
The sprite is in classic doom colours so it wouldn't be hard to recolour it tan or whatever anyone else wants. Keeping the base sprite grey will make it easier for recolours imo. Tan will blend with the reds and oranges too much.

I haven't done anymore work on the sprite yet so no. Maybe I'll go back to it when I get my PC upgraded so blender will run properly but I wouldn't wait around. You can bench it or reject it if you want, but I'm not doing anymore work on this until further notice.

Finally got around to testing this guy out in a custom map of mine & it was one of the most satisfying & intense bosses I've played against, not something you can just spam shot BFG shots onto hoping for an easy kill which is a huge bonus in my opinion. Perfectly captures the final boss from The Lost Mission.
