The weapon sprites need to be PNG, and the firing frame needs to be bright.
Also, can you make it so when you run out of bullets and you still have the firing button pressed, it goes to the reloading animation instead of getting stuck on the NoAmmo state?

You should optimize your sprites to decrease their file size.
Also I'd suggest
adding editor keys
to the Ammo44 actor, to give it a proper name and category in the editor if someone adds an editor number to it.

This seems to be ready to, but before that, when I asked for the original pickup sprite, I meant the one you edited before submitting it, but you posted the sprites from your submission. May I see the originals, before you edited them?

I think the original sprite pickup would be better than the one you upscaled. Can you use that instead?

I've just done a new attempt at the pickup sprite.
I've also converted and optimized it.
I've also noticed a few stray pixels on multiple frames that appeared after conversion/optimization suggested before, most likely due to some semi-transparent pixels I didnt see before.
They are fixed now too.
P.S. Reuploaded an update with better scale in comparison to pistol/other weapon pickup sprite scales.
