Really well made, I especially like the explosion when it dies.
I don't know if you intend this enemy to be used in OpenGL/truecolor render only, but in software mode certain parts of the sprites are full bright on dark sectors due to how the Strife palette works:

I can't see your attachments but I know exactly what you mean Gothic. I'll see if I can get it working in software mode also without sacrificing the sprite quality too much.

Huh, weird, I can see them from my end, even logged out and on mobile. Can you see the links below them?

My regular web browser wasn't loading them for some reason. I can see your screenshots with Edge.
Here is the updated version. The default sprites have been converted to Strife's palette and the rogue glowing pixels removed. I also used this as opportunity to make the headlights glow.
I have also retained the original sprites in a backup folder for anyone making a GZDoom exclusive mod.

I edited the truecolor sprites to patch the glowing pixels with the paletted ones, so in can look good on hardware and software renders, can those be used instead of having 2 separate sprite sets?

Even better! Yes definitely use that one.
How did you manage to dictate what pixels glow in software mode without converting it to the Strife palette?

I actually had to convert them, then translate the problematic colors to something I could identify later:

The colors in the last row glow in the dark.
Then I had to do some copy paste in Paint.net with the original sprites and your edits.
Now it looks good in software, and great in hardware render. Truecolor users will have to deal with the lights turned off, though.
Anyway, added
