The spawned Lost Souls can keep spawning more of themselves if they're killed near the tainted Soulsphere , is this intended?

Nope, not intended, it just didn't happen to me. I added another condition to the function, which I believe fixes it.

You should add an exception for Pain Elementals as well, if they die close to the sphere, they can't spawn 3 lost souls.
Also remove the "replaces SoulSphere" part.

Yeah, that was an oversight, removed. PainElemental added, I also added a particle 'bleeding' effect to the actor and slightly updated the sprites.
