I like the concept of a faster imp with faster projectiles, but imho it looks a bit silly how he animates, like straight out of a sped up silent era film, now if he was black & white the illusion would be perfect lol 

I'd double the frames in the see state, like this

this looks much better imho.

I also think the projectile looks a bit bland, maybe make use of the sprite roll feature? Or add another animation frame so it looks like the inner flashy thing is rotating, right now it looks like it's just wiggling left and right a bit.

I suggest changing the ball speed and fastspeed to 18 & 30 respectively.
