Anyway, I just tried this, and it really doesn't seem like anything special. It's a stupidly overpowered auto-shotgun where the graphics and sounds are just straight ripped from elsewhere.

We don't live on these forums. We'll get it it when we get to it.NourPrince wrote: This is really.. it have been some days and no one commented about the riotgun

Well, just because you gave a warning that the weapon was overpowered doesn't make it OK for it to be overpowered. Overpowered weapons are fun to screw around with, but for a weapon to be useful, it needs to be balanced so that it fits in with the existing weapons. That doesn't mean it can't be more "powerful" than the standard shotgun in terms of overall destructive capability, but it does mean that it shouldn't make the old one totally obsolete. Not only does this one have a higher rate of fire than the regular (in alt-fire, at least), but it does over twice as much damage per shot! Instead, making it deal a little bit less damage per shot would help balance out the high rate of fire (which is basically how the AA12 shotgun on the repository works). Yeah, you'll wind up consuming more ammo overall than if you used the regular or super shotgun, but in return you get a much higher rate of damage output, which is still very useful. (Alternatively, see the Smasher shotgun, which has the same damage as the regular shotgun, but crappy accuracy at a distance, so it's only effective up close.)
Anyways, I hope this helps bring a little bit of perspective. Don't get discouraged; we've all been there.

In fairness, we do already have a bunch of weapons on the repository that are straight rips from other games, so this one might still be accepted if the power level is toned down somewhat. The scripting itself is otherwise done well, though I do agree that two firing modes might be a bit unnecessary. If you want to do something a bit more unusual, you could change it from a hitscan weapon to a projectile weapon--projectile buckshot might be fun to play with. Or you could make it into a full-fledged energy weapon, like Fallout 3's Laser Gatling or Turok 2's Firestorm Cannon.NourPrince wrote: ...and also the sprites from Shadow Realms, but about the sound.. i dont know.

Thanks for the helpful tips MagicWazard. Although I was meant as a rapidly fire quad shotgun. But I will do a major update for a riotgun.
