[SUBMISSION] Poltergeist was created by davidraven
I've had this monster sitting on my hard disk for some months, now I finally decided to finish it. Hope you'll find it useful. :cool:

Description:
Some kinds of "common" objects (explosive barrels, candlesticks and standard ammo) thrown at the player by a malicious ghost. You can't kill the ghost, but you can destroy an object before it's launched towards you!

I have the same problem if I plan to add zip files on threads. If I want to have a somewhat downloadable file, I need to add them inside my dropbox and copy-paste the link somewhere. What's going on?

PS: I speak of files no larger than 256kb

Creepy but I like it! Very useful for "supernatural" setups.

A couple of bugs I found, though, through my quick test:
  • When you get killed by the barrel, the player is credited for the kill, not the ghost.
  • The ghost messes up the monster kill count when it removes itself from the game after the object is thrown at the player.

Thanks for the feedback :D I fixed the monster count bug.
The obityary only works if the player is near the barrel, but it just gives "player is dead" if it's far from it, I don't know how to fix that :(
However, the download link of the fixed version is in the first post.

Well, the changes you did to fix the monster count bug also fixed the kill crediting one. :)

For non-image files, the size limit appears to be 120 KB. For images, it is 150 KB.
