Description:
Colt 45 originally submitted by JoeyTD and modifd by Spectre0618. Changed the firing sprite, adjusted the animation sequence, changed the color of the gloves to black and used a new sound effect.

I'm afraid you're going to have to change the glove color back, since all Doom Armory weapons need standard Doom hands or at least look like it.

Not necessarily. It could wind up in the "other styles" section, or as a Strife item.

Fair enough. Although there is a Strife pistol hand sheet if he wants to go that route.

I suppose, the "Doom gloves" could be supplied as standard while the black ones as an alternate version. This way it'd end up in the Doom section.

Well, but if he changes the gloves back to the standard Doom gloves, then it's not much different than the existing Colt .45--just a couple of minor aesthetic changes and slightly different damage, which probably wouldn't be enough to justify both. I'd say it would be better to go whole-hog and do a full Strife glove conversion, if the author is up to it.

Alternatively, the pistol itself could be recolored to differentiate it from the existing Colt .45 submission. When I think "Tac", I think "Tactical", which brings to mind a darker gray color. That could look pretty nice.

Any update to this? I agree that having a different colored gun would help make it stand out from the colt (especially if the gloves are changed back to the brown ones)
