I'd ask users to test the any weapons with & without a Key Config, I had to add one for the Quad Shotgun in it's early stages because it wasn't swapping in or out then left a copy of it in as a note-- so they could use it if there was problems with switching.

Have had to do the same with the Nailgun & Nailgun SG from here for example, even when a weapon selection order & slot was allocated there was problems. Added a Key Config to backup the statement of where the weapons needed placing & they work fine.

Lump numbers, can always be changed by the users. Example 1500 can be changed to 1501 etc, I leave the numbers in because they were what I'd used at the time (example with the Allied Marines), it allows faster testing and users downloading the files, are then free to change whatever numbers need changing.

Whether or not extra rules should be put in or detailed more-- I'm not sure if it's really right for me to say, I'm not an Administrator and despite some the high detail on this and other submitted items, I still consider myself a "rookie", too inexperienced and don't have the right to say what should or shouldn't change (I get nervous a feeling that I'm being assertive even if it's just positive feedback).

But I will say that both of you have helped me get current all my current submitted content to meet other users expectations without malice or that feeling of pressuring to do so, accepting & willing to help because in the end, it is about trial & error.

And whatever changes you feel need to be put into place, I will try to follow as best as I can.

That was directed more at Blue Shadow, not you, DBJ87. :P I don't personally have a problem with including an editor number, but if we're going to have a "rule" about it, it should be canonized.

Either way, KEYCONF isn't good for weapon submissions, but "Weapon.SlotNumber" is acceptable. That can stay as-is.

I'd guessed that it was (sorry), but just thought I'd add something from a 3rd Party perspective & my own experiences with the use of the Key Config & WeaponSlot.Numbers. I'll stay out of it now :derp: .
