[SUBMISSION] Rifle Zombieman w/rifle pickup was created by Skelegant

Very cool, but I think his weapon looks a bit too much like the Shotgun from most angles. The ammo mag is only easily visible from some angles and frames. It could use a touch more editing, I think.
Otherwise, I like it. Again, you're filling in enemy slots that I've been needing for a while!

I agree, I think making the barrel longer, giving it a sight and extending the stock a little should do the trick. I'll sort it out at some point

Two things:
- One of its "see" sounds (RIFLZOM2) sounds a bit awkward, like there is an echo in it. When testing the monster, I thought it played its see sound twice in a row.
- It has a pain chance of 2 (don't tell me it's because of the helmet ), which is ridiculously low for a former human.

The echo was an attempt at making it sound less like the sound of an old man getting out of a recliner and more like a moan coming from a ruptured voicebox.
And yes, the pain chance is that low because of the helmet I know it's stupid, I just couldn't decide what number to make it. It needs to be noticable, but obviously not that noticable lol
[EDIT] how's this? I'd prefer to get feedback on it before redoing the whole thing lol

Looks better, yes. The barrel, definitely. The clip still blends in a bit more than I'd like, but it's an improvement.
Pain chance? I'd say no lower than 64. I mean, that helmet only covers his head.

Just wanted to check; was the version on the first post updated with the new sprites and pain chance? Or is that in the works?

Sprites have been updated, and I added a weapon-giving corpse similar to the Heavy Carbine guy's one. Including a weapon with a monster might be overkill, but I figured I'd add it anyway

Not bad. I'm wondering if it would make sense to add some blood to the gun being carried by the zombie so it more matches the one the player can pick up.
Only other suggestion I have is to separate the weapon itself from the monster and add a submission to the armory so it's easier to keep track of and easier for other modders to use one over the other. I also can't help but feel that weapon slot 2 for the rifle is not quite the right spot for it. It seems a bit powerful for a "handgun".
