I like it, except that it seems perhaps needlessly durable for what is essentially a proximity turret. Plus, the first time a player runs into one of these, they're going to shoot every mushroom they come across; as soon as they see one that absorbs hitscan shots, they'll know it's hostile, so I don't think there's much point in making them especially durable.

The sprite edit is great, though, and the sounds are fitting.

Those Mushrooms need all to absorb hitscan whether they are hostiles or not,because they are equally dangerous

This is pretty nice. :)

I'm wondering if it's worth including a red mushroom prop to give this monster a bit more disguise/cover in forest themed levels. I can't recall if Heretic/Hexen has mushroom props that are that big.

There's a matching Mushroom entry on the repo in the "Vegetation" section. Of course, unless the map author is using both, the surprise will wear out pretty quick! Including a RandomSpawner that can produce both seems like a good idea to me, even though it'll increase the submission size a bit.

UPDATE

-Added a random spawner, so players don't instantly assume that is a hostile mushroom.

By the way, is there any way to make the monster unable to be aimed with weapons? I could't find any flag for that in the wiki.

-Mushrooms can't be aimed anymore, except when they're attacking.
