I really like the particle-based flames it emits as it moves around. Having it as particles instead of a flat sprite works well. I worry that the "body" might not be an ideal fit for the Doom/Raven games' art style, although it looks nice enough on its own merits. (Brightmaps for the eyes and GLDefs for the flames would be a good thing to consider adding if possible.)

The behavior is kind of neat, too. I like that it does damage just by proximity. Personally, I find the slow version a little too slow, and the fast version a little too fast--if I was to use it, I would probably have one version with the speed averaged out between the two. That's just my opinion, though.

I agree with MagicWazard on the art style. To me, it looks like it came from some cartoon...

Tried it out, it does looks pretty interesting, as others said, the smoke does work well. To me, it feels like a cross between the Lost Soul and the Blot.. I do feel that the slow one is a little too slow in my opinion, otherwise I like it.

I have updated the wad - added variant with moderate speed and renamed actors.

The sprite style is simply an issue that we can't accept atm.

Luckily, we now have an "Other Styles" category, so I'm un-rejecting this for further consideration. Personally, I like it a lot.

While I do think the behavior could work, I have to agree that the main body sprites are a bit too simplistic.
