What do the "piles of bottles" pickup in Kneed Deep in the ZDoom do?

I ran thru quickly in my savegames but I can't find them to get a screenshot. It looks like 4 beer bottles, one is on its side. It makes the pickup sound when you grab it but I can't see any change to health/armor/ammo - if they are molotovs I don't know how to use them.

If it's what I think you're talking about then it's ammo for the Rifle. A weapon that's in slot 7 for KDiZD
