Approvals usually take a while...try not to worry about it too much, and definitely don't take it personally. :) For a more extreme example, on the last version of the website, I had a couple monsters sit in the queue for two years (they were eventually approved, though).

I think the UnMaker and Hellforge Cannons look enough alike that you could still use an UnMaker pun for the name; "UnMakubus" (or "UnMakeubus") comes to mind, though it's late at night, and I can't really tell at the moment if that sounds dumb or not. :fear: I'm gonna make a noble sacrifice and suggest it anyways.

What do you think about Unmakerbus?

I would have preferred it if the monster had only one attack. That attack would be the mace balls, since it is associated with the weapons it is using and is a little more interesting than the other two.

The mancubus fireballs attack do not make much "sense" to me. The monster, in its new form, has ditched the blasters (from the mancubus) for something else. I only find it fitting that it shoots something else, as well. As for the rail attack, I do not know. It just feels that it was thrown in for a good measure, it is like somebody went and said: "Why not, let's give it a rail attack, while we are at it!".

Please note that this is just my own personal opinion. I'm neither a monster nor weapon expert. So take that with a grain of salt, as they say.

Thankx BS, but if I had to add just only one type of attack, I fear that this UnMancubus would never be so original or a fatso-behaviour-wise one.

My UnMancubus foe started exactly with such idea: some rail attacks which are rarely seen today, and also they're here because I needed 'em for my project Gore. Concerning the unfitting blasters, I think I could agree with you, but it seems that people like as it is now. But if some more users will not like those usual fireballs, I'll remove it in an instant. Nothing hard to do anyway.

Don't worry BS, I'm good with feedbacks like this one, what I don't like are trolling people and no answers at all. I really appreciate your suggestions and even your opinions, that are always welcomed.

Just a last question for you: what do you think about its name? UnMancubus or UnMakerbus (that could fit with your one-attack type idea)?

I agree that 3 projectiles is more than "necessary" for an otherwise straightforward monster like this, but I don't think they really hurt the quality of the monster with their inclusion. If I had to suggest one for removal, I'd say the traditional Fatso fireballs; they're the least unique attack. I would suggest keeping the rail attack due to its highly customized appearance, even if it's functionally straightforward. However, one thing that I realized is that since the rail attack has limited range, then perhaps his AI should have a range check to keep him from trying to use his rail attack when he's too far away for it to hit--in that case, he'd give preference to his projectile attack(s). (Maybe if he's within 800 units or so [80% of the rail attack's range], he could choose between rail or fireballs; if he's further than 800 units, he could do fireballs or mace. If you get rid of the fireballs altogether, then he'd do rail or mace at close range, and just mace if he's further away.)

Warning: Spoiler!

Uhmm... some amusing ideas indeed, I'll see if I'm enough skilled in doing such special distance trick, I have so much to learn from decorate code and that's what entertain me on the entire process when I decide to do a new actor: when I got somethin' working the way it's meant to be, I SCREAM "YES" SO LOUD! :-D

I know that UnmakerBus was a weird proposal (to me it sounds like a vehicle with Sneakers on it :-D), but I want to write here a list of some more names for this fatty-belchy Ubus:
- Tepharubus
- Xarephubus
- Abominubus
- Haedexubus

I find it better if the monster were to use the rail attack for long-range sniping (instead of it just being a random attack), and the projectile attack for mid-to-short-range encounters. Handling it the other way is counter-productive.

Think about it: what weapon would be best for shooting from afar? A plasma gun, or a chaingun?

Regarding the name, I don't have any input at the moment.

I would normally agree, but since it's a heavily stylized railgun attack with modified properties, I don't see why it can't be used as a closer-range attack. The idea of using it for sniping is more tactically conventional, yes, but that's also why I find it less interesting in this case than the idea of using it as a limited-range "beam" weapon.

Also, I kind of like "Haedexubus" since it sounds reminiscent of both the Hectebus and the Daedabus (the latter of which was removed from the repo, unfortunately); it almost makes it sound like there's a naming hierarchy. I don't have a clue what (if anything) "Haedexubus" means, though; I hope it's nothing I'd be embarrassed to endorse. :3
