Even though this is chaingun-like weapon (in terms of behavior), it's more satisfying to use than the chaingun (probably something to do with the firing sound...).
There is only one thing I'd like to discuss: automatic switching.
Currently, the weapon switches out if it runs out of ammo (although it has the problem where you need to press the fire key at least once after the last shot), but since it can be used even if you don't have ammo for it (bayonets), do you guys think it would make more sense for the weapon to not switch out, and instead, to fall back to the bayonets (with the primary attack), or would it be better if it actually switched out to a different, and potentially more powerful weapon?

I considered having it not autoswitch, but that'd be potentially lethal in the middle of battle. The not switching until you press fire thing is a problem though, would a_jumpifnoammo fix it?

Oh, and if the bullets could generate a BulletPuff upon hitting a wall, that would be great!

Adding A_Refire somewhere near the end will allow it to autoswitch if ammo runs out, without having to press the fire button. Honestly, I'm on the fence about having it autoswitch on you, considering you might want to use the bayonet. I'll leave that decision up to you guys.Skelegant wrote: I considered having it not autoswitch, but that'd be potentially lethal in the middle of battle. I'm personally in favor of switching. The bayonets are an optional feature of the weapon. They're not exactly powerful, and are useless at long range.

I added the bloody carbine and corpse to the wad, and made the bullets slightly faster and inherit from FastProjectile. I also fixed a slight problem with the recoil and added a_refire, and it switches out automatically now.
The bullets puff on wall impact now, too

I notice one thing out of place--there's a graphic lump called "BHOLE" that isn't used anywhere in the submission. Was this intended to be a custom decal?
Otherwise, I love how this is arranged. I like having the two alternate versions (though the only difference between the two appears to be accuracy), and how the corpse is implemented. I'm going to go ahead and OK this, assuming you'll either explain or remove the "BHOLE" graphic.
