I understand if it doesn't exactly fit on here, this was my first actual ACS and Decorate related project so it was mostly just done as a learning experience. Plus, I know that it's not particularly useful if you plan on making maps for multiplayer. I'll keep at it and come back when I have something a little more appropriate I suppose!

No, the lack of feedback is just me; you see, I'm not invested in mapping much, and as such, it's not something I imagine I'll find a use for, personally. But it doesn't mean that others won't find it useful.

So, is one of the links in the OP up-to-date and complete? I tried the demo map posted in comment #3, and it looks promising, if unusual. And definitely include a demo map with the final submission--it'll help out a lot!

I had a chance to try this out recently and I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking at. I tried two of the maps on the previous page (DynamicSkyViewpointWithTestMap.zip and DYNSKIES.zip) and I can see different colored skies, but they didn't seem to move with the player.
I'm most likely misunderstanding this or did something wrong.

I've sort of lost interest in this over the past few months and honestly with work taking up free time and also with the rewriting of one of my game engines, I haven't even really had any time to spare toward it. I'm sure sooner or later somebody more talented will come along and improve on this concept or (if we're really lucky) edits to zdoom / gzdoom / other ports' source code will be made to facilitate this functionality right out of the gate (which would be the only way a multiplayer compatible counterpart could even be correctly implemented).
TL;DR:
Anywho... that being said, be sure to use the file in the OP "DynamicSkyViewpointTestUDMFFixed.zip" as I've just tested it and seems to work completely as expected. Also, I know for a fact that this won't work with some or all versions of Zandronum so be sure you're using GZDoom to test this (I was using 2.0.9 to test so that should work for you too). Thanks!
