I just forgot to respond lol, the gun is fine, I'd further indent the state labels and sequences but whatever.

The damage could be lowered a bit I think, it currently does 4 damage per hitscan. And you should also add a decal that the weapon will use for its' hitscans using the Decal property . I'd suggest using the BulletChip decal, but you can find more built-in decals in the DECALDEF file inside of gzdoom.pk3.

edit: does 3 or 2 damage per shot is balanced?
also for decals i don't know what it is tbh

If you're gonna use sprites from Cardboard Marty, may I suggest using the Assault Shotgun sprites? I think it looks better than his old stuff:

And if you're gonna use an angled sprite, then the recoil animation should push the sprite down right.
