Yeah, makes sense to me. I'm not opposed to that direction.
Personally, though, I think this thing looks like it should be able to take the Plasma Gun in a fight, insofar as pure damage output is concerned. That could mean compromising ammo efficiency (lower damage per shot) in favor of higher rate-of-fire. So I think I'm sorta backing Blue Shadow's opinion from post #17, but with enough tweaks to make its overall DPS higher. If you want to kill something *faster*? Use this, but you'll use more ammo overall. If you want to kill something *more efficiently* and save a bit of ammo? Use the Plasma Gun. That's my opinion. BUT, it's *just* an opinion, so I'm willing to see where you want to take it.

Changes:
-Fixed refire sound
-Reduced the file size of each sound
-Added hold loop sound and end loop sound
-Added code for looping new sounds
-Now uses 1 cell per round
-Fires faster
-Modified damage rates to compensate for rate of fire
-Replaced offset spread with random angle spread for custom projectile
-Removed screen recoil (it wasn't going to work with the speed of the weapon)
-Reduced length of wad name
