Gatling Laser

Hey thanks for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it there will be more to come once Ive finished on my plasma repeater.. That will be 3 submissions complete and a "temporarily" named Photonic Modulator on the way, once Ive figured out the code... might even consider a donation when I have some spending money to show my support to this website

Update v6:
-Made new gun flash sprites

The problem I'm having is that I want the flash sprite to randomly switch between the 2 sprites when A_Gunflash is called, or is there a better way to achieve a less "repetative" gun flash.[/strike]
Edit: v6 has been re-upped with the random flash.. Ready for the next wave of feedback

Edit2: Aha, I forgot to mention I PNGOUT'd on this update too.

I like it. All it needs is decals for the shots (you can recolor the Plasma Gun's decals, I think) and maybe some GLDefs. (Definitely some GLDefs. )

Wouldn't it look better if the colored (red) layer of the decal was on top of the burn layer instead of underneath it?

The idea was for it to look like it has burnt a hole in the wall and the outer edge is still red hot, then slowly cools off.. I like the look of it, but I can remove it if you feel it doesn't work.

Edit: Perhaps v7.1 gives off the effect a little better.

Since the decal isn't bad by any means and I don't want to hold this submission up just for a decal, if MagicWazard is okay with it as is, then I am, too.
