Mostly I just wanted to see if I could get a better sprite upscale than the current version. I've got Photoshop, and wanted to try a few resampling methods.

Also, I might as well mention right now that I'm a bit on the fence as to whether these sprites will mesh well with existing assets. Partially due to the art style, and partially due to their sheer size. They may actually wind up looking better smaller and more pixelated, like most of the stock assets. But you can leave them all as-is for now.

Actually if I remember correctly the attack animations are larger. Did you rip yours directly or were they sent to you? I can't find mine I was making the same monster :derp:

BTW these are ALL ORIGINAL FRAMES from Daggerfall's Skeleton Warrior, didn't check MagicWazard changes atm...

Kalinus, I went through and edited the attack to be smaller from the front, along with making it larger from the back.

Very sorry to you all for the lack of work on this, I work on wayyyyyyyyyy to many mods for games (Fallout New Vegas, some Skyrim, basically all of bethesda, and a... random Don't Starve Together mod (kill me)), and I've been focusing my efforts into those in order to IjustwanttogetthemoverwithbyGODTOOMANYMODS.

I'll use that Skeleton backs ya' posted Magic, again, so sorry I went on hiatus for 7 years, on;y to tell you i've been working on like, 10 unreleased mods, and have only got ONE out on the nexus so far cause i'm absolutely pathetic.

Is there anything more I need to do with the skeleton? It has the full walking, attack animation, working sounds, it's the exact same as the normal Daggerfall skeleton at this point.

I could try and add a few extra things to him, but most I bet people won't care that much for, and are not necessary for the skeleton in any way, like adding frozen sprites so it can freeze (EDIT: Added!), or maybe using my horrible sprite editing/making skills to make an entire death animation.

Other than that, I think it's just about done.

Also, about what section to put this in, The beastinary has the Other section, and the textures other section has Daggerfall textures in it, so there IS a place it fits in! :grin:

EDIT: Link updated with added Ice state, with custom frozen sprite! Here it is:

EDIT 2: I have added some flare to the death, making the skeleton drop his shield upon death. It bounces a bit, spins, and lays flat. Link is updated.

Thanks man, although, i'm still proud of the Shield spin. I honestly might make a joke submission of an endless spinning shield, cause I freaking love it.

Ha ha, you'd better not. :) If I can offer one criticism, it's that the shield spawns while the skeleton is still holding it. That looks just a little bit off.

Yeah, i'm actually going to fix that VERY soon, and i've uploaded an update for the Axe to drop now, as well as shortening that death!

Now... I'm going to make a whole death animation.

Also, here is dancing skeleton, cause the 1st frame of the death animation looks freaking PERFECT to dance!
